All treatments at Melatone Skin Clinic are carried out by medically trained and fully insured professionals. The clinic is led by a GMC-registered Physician Associate with experience in General Practice and aesthetics.

We also work with HCPC-registered clinicians, including practitioners who are completing accredited training in aesthetic injectables.

For prescription-only treatments (such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers), a qualified prescribing professional will complete your medical assessment and authorise your treatment plan in line with UK regulations. No prescription-only treatment is performed without an appropriate face-to-face consultation.

All treatments are carried out in a clinical setting using medical-grade products and devices from reputable suppliers. Your clinician will take a full medical history, assess your skin and discuss risks, benefits and alternatives before going ahead. As with other leading skin clinics, we only treat when it is medically and ethically appropriate, and we never pressure you into having a procedure.

Yes. Every new client has a thorough consultation before any treatment. This is your chance to discuss concerns (for example pigmentation, acne scarring, dullness, fine lines or volume loss), ask questions and agree a personalised treatment plan. In many cases we can treat on the same day, but sometimes we may recommend patch testing, blood tests (for certain procedures), or a cooling-off period.

Melatone Skin Clinic is an inclusive, medically-led skin clinic in Battersea treating all Fitzpatrick skin types (I–VI). Treatment plans and peel strengths are selected carefully for darker skin tones to reduce the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and to protect your skin barrier.

This depends on your skin concern and treatment type:

• Chemical peels: usually a course of 2–4 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart

• Microneedling: typically 3–6 sessions every 4–6 weeks

• PRP & skin boosters: often 3 initial sessions, then maintenance every 6–12 months

Your practitioner will give you a realistic treatment plan and timeline at your consultation.

Most of our treatments have minimal downtime:

• Mild redness or swelling for 24–72 hours after microneedling, PRP or skin boosters

• Light peeling or dryness for a few days after chemical peels

• Temporary swelling, tenderness or bruising after injectables

We provide clear written aftercare, including what to avoid (heat, exercise, makeup, active skincare) and when you can safely return to your normal routine.

• Peels & microneedling: improvements in tone/texture can last months with good skincare and SPF

• Skin boosters & polynucleotides: typically 6–12 months depending on lifestyle and skin quality

• PRP: gradual, natural results that build over weeks and can last 6–12 months

Maintenance sessions help keep your skin at its best over time.

Most healthy adults over 18 are suitable for at least one of our treatments. We cannot treat if you are:

• Pregnant or breastfeeding

• Under 18

• Allergic to any treatment components

• Experiencing certain uncontrolled medical conditions (for example active infection in the treatment area, some autoimmune conditions, recent surgery, or certain medications)

Yes. Melatone Skin Clinic is a gender-inclusive clinic and we welcome all adults looking for safe, natural-looking, results-driven skin and aesthetic treatments.

To respect your clinician’s time and other clients, we ask for notice (for example 48 hours) to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations, no-shows or repeated last-minute changes may result in a fee or loss of your booking fee. Our full policy is clearly displayed when you book online and in your confirmation email.

Yes. Melatone Skin Clinic holds full medical malpractice, public liability and product liability insurance for the treatments we provide, in line with UK aesthetic safety standards.

Yes, there are several convenient parking options when visiting the clinic.

1. On-Site Parking (Inside Battersea Business Centre)

There are visitor parking bays inside the Battersea Business Centre car park.

• Cost: Paid at all times (Tariffs start from £5 for 1 hour).

• Registration: All vehicles must be registered using the QR code or link shown on the parking signs.

• Penalty: Failure to register may result in a £100 parking charge.

• Best for: The closest and most secure option.

2. Street Parking (Stormont Road & Rush Hill Road)

Based on the updated signage (Zone C3):

• Restricted Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm.

• Rules: Pay at machine OR Permit holders (C3).

• Max Stay: 2 hours (during restricted hours).

The side streets around the Business Centre (Zone C3/C3e), including Rush Hill Road and the residential turns off Lavender Hill, follow the same favourable rules:

• Free: After 5:30 pm on weekdays.

• Free: All day Saturday and Sunday.

These streets are excellent options for weekend appointments or evening visits.
