A cream for redness-prone skin, honestly
Most people who reach for it have skin that flushes, stings with most products, or is dry and red across the cheeks and nose, and have been through a drawer of creams that made it worse. What that skin needs from a moisturiser is mostly absence: no fragrance, no essential oils, no acids, no foaming agents, plus barrier support. B Quenched is built to that brief, with niacinamide for the look of redness.
What it will not do is treat rosacea. Rosacea is a medical condition with triggers, flares and prescription options, and a moisturiser is the part of the plan that keeps the skin comfortable between them. If your redness is persistent, comes with bumps or stinging, or is getting worse, see your GP or book an assessment.
On deeper skin tones, redness reads as a darker or purplish flush rather than pink, and is often missed. Irritation on deeper skin also leaves marks, which is why a bland, barrier-supporting cream is the first thing we reach for before any active.

How to use it
Morning
- Cleanse with a soap-free cleanser and pat dry.
- Apply any serum and let it settle.
- Smooth 1 to 2 pumps of B Quenched over the face and neck.
- Finish with SPF.
Night
After cleansing, as your night cream. On nights you use a retinal, the retinal goes on last; B Quenched can go underneath it if your skin is dry.
Beyond the face
Décolletage, the backs of the hands and the forearms, wherever skin is dry or reactive.
Starting out
Patch test on the inner forearm for 24 to 48 hours if your skin reacts to most things. Introduce it alone, without other new products, so you can tell what is doing what.

Is it suitable for eczema?
ESK lists eczema-prone skin. It is fragrance-free and barrier-supporting, which is what an eczema-prone face needs from a moisturiser. Active, weeping or infected eczema needs a GP, and prescription emollients and treatments come first.
