The science, made simple

You have not lost volume. You have lost quality.

Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments, derived from salmon or trout milt. Placed in the dermis they do three things. They hold water as a hydrogel scaffold, for an early smoothing effect within days. They signal to fibroblasts to build new collagen and matrix, which is the long-term change. And they calm oxidative load in tissue that is inflamed or prone to pigmentation. You are not adding structure from outside. You are asking the skin to rebuild its own.

The under-eye is the thinnest skin on the body, around 0.5mm. Filler there often makes dark circles worse through a bluish cast. A single session is a genuine session, but the course of three at two to four week intervals is the clinically indicated pathway. Maintenance is usually one session every six to nine months.
