Why HydroMED Pro, not a salon hydrofacial
A salon hydrofacial typically runs the same three-step routine on every client. The HydroMED Pro is a medical-grade platform by MediMD that gives Vanessa nine separate modalities to draw from. She selects three to five of them per session, based on your skin assessment that day. Same machine, a different curated session every time, depending on what your skin actually needs.
We do not stack all nine modalities in one facial. The point of a curated platform is that Vanessa picks the right tools for the right skin on the right day. Most sessions use three to five modalities. The protocol cards below show typical combinations.

Vanessa delivers HydroMED Pro sessions personally, calibrated to your skin. She works alongside Catia Zaki, our Clinic Manager and Laser Lead. Catia holds the VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and IPL, the highest UK qualification for non-medical laser delivery, and brings 6+ years of NHS experience and 10+ years in management to every clinic visit. She runs the day-to-day at Battersea, handles WhatsApp enquiries, and is usually the first to reply if you message us before your appointment.

Yes. The HydroMED Pro modalities do not interact with melanin in the way ablative thermal devices do, which is why we use it across all Fitzpatrick types. Radio frequency, ultrasound and Ice and Fire intensity are calibrated to your assessment at the start of the session. Vanessa's training has an explicit Skin of Colour focus.

None. HydroMED Pro is designed for zero-downtime, same-day radiance. Any faint flush from radio frequency or extraction settles within 30 minutes. Makeup the next morning is fine.
For visible long-term change, monthly. Glow Membership is the cheapest way to maintain that cadence. For an event or specific concern, single sessions work well, with a 4 to 6 week recovery between intensive protocols.
