What Battersea patients commonly come in for.

A meaningful share of our SW11 patients live in the residential corridor between Battersea Park and Clapham Junction, with a growing number in newer-build apartments along the riverside redevelopment. Patients living in newer-build flats sometimes describe a winter-pattern dryness extending into late spring, which may reflect lower indoor humidity in tightly sealed buildings. Urban particulate matter has been associated with extrinsic skin aging features in laboratory and tissue studies, including barrier disruption and altered pigmentation [1, 2]; relevance for any individual patient is assessed at consultation. We discuss whether modalities offered on the HydroMED Pro platform may suit each patient's protocol; suitability and outcomes vary individually. Booking patterns we observe include walk-in patch-test enquiries on the way to or from Battersea Library, and lunchtime appointments before returning to work in the surrounding SW11 employment corridor.
