Bio

Catia Zaki is the co-founder, Clinic Manager and Laser Lead at Melatone Skin Clinic. Catia holds the VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and IPL Treatments, the highest UK qualification for non-medical laser delivery.

Catia built Melatone's laser service around the Skin of Colour patient. Most London laser clinics use Alexandrite or Diode-only platforms, which carry real safety risk for Fitzpatrick V and VI. Catia leads with 1064nm Nd:YAG, the established standard for darker skin tones, on a SMARTDiode triple-wavelength machine. Wavelength is chosen at patch test, never assumed.

Catia personally performs every laser session at the clinic, under the clinical supervision of Arman Zaki (GMC-registered PA). She also runs the £10 patch test for every new laser patient, which functions as a 20-minute consult where you can ask anything before you commit.
