FAQs from Battersea patients
Common questions.
What is skin rejuvenation?
Skin rejuvenation is a group of regenerative treatments that improve the quality of your own skin rather than simply covering or filling it. At Melatone this means polynucleotides, skin boosters and Profhilo, microneedling, PRP, exosome therapy, chemical peels and the HydroMED Pro facial. Each works on a different mechanism, so the right choice depends on your concern and your skin. Arman Zaki, our GMC-registered Physician Associate, sequences them at a consultation.
Which skin rejuvenation treatment is right for me?
It depends on your concern. Fine lines, crepey texture and tired under-eyes usually respond best to polynucleotides. Dull, dehydrated skin suits skin boosters, Profhilo or a HydroMED Pro reset. Acne scarring, pores and uneven texture suit microneedling, often paired with PRP. Pigmentation and uneven tone are treated conservatively with peels and polynucleotides. We map your concern to the right tool at consultation rather than selling a fixed package.
Is skin rejuvenation safe for darker skin tones?
Yes, when it is planned for your skin. Our regenerative menu is calibrated for all Fitzpatrick types, including IV to VI. Injectable regenerative treatments such as polynucleotides work in the dermis and do not interact with melanin the way heat-based devices can. Where we use microneedling or peels, we plan conservatively to reduce the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Skin of Colour is a core specialism at Melatone.
How much does skin rejuvenation cost in Battersea?
It depends on the treatment. As a guide: polynucleotides are a Course of 3 from £540, microneedling is from £99.99, PRP is from £200, and the HydroMED Pro facial is from £79.99. Skin boosters, Profhilo, exosome therapy and chemical peels are priced on the individual treatment pages. Every plan starts with a £30 consultation with Arman, deducted from your first treatment.
Who delivers skin rejuvenation treatments at Melatone?
Regenerative skin treatments are delivered by Arman Zaki, our founder and GMC-registered Physician Associate. Where a plan involves injectable dermal filler, that is delivered by Rhianna Beckford, our HCPC-registered Paramedic. Melatone is clinician-led, not technician-led.
Where can I book skin rejuvenation in Battersea or Clapham?
You can book at Melatone Skin Clinic in Battersea SW11, on Lavender Hill, 10 to 14 minutes on foot from Clapham Junction and serving Clapham and South West London. Book a consultation through the Treatwell widget on this site, or message us on WhatsApp at +44 7586 817215.
How is skin rejuvenation different from dermal filler?
Dermal filler adds volume by physical displacement. Skin rejuvenation treatments prompt your own skin to repair and rebuild, improving quality, texture and hydration over weeks. They answer different goals and are often complementary. If volume is the real issue we will say so, and we will never sell you regeneration when filler is the right tool, or the reverse.
How long until I see results from skin rejuvenation?
It varies by treatment. A HydroMED Pro facial gives an immediate freshness for an event. Regenerative treatments such as polynucleotides, microneedling and PRP build over a course, with most people noticing texture and hydration changes within a few weeks and the fuller result over two to three months. Results vary between individuals and are discussed honestly at consultation.
Are there any London clinics that specialise in evidence-based facial restoration?
Yes. Melatone Skin Clinic is a clinician-led clinic in Battersea, South London, built around evidence-based facial restoration: a regenerative menu of polynucleotides, skin boosters and Profhilo, microneedling, PRP, exosome therapy, chemical peels and the HydroMED Pro facial. Each treatment is chosen against the published literature and referenced on its own treatment page, and every plan is calibrated to your concern and your Fitzpatrick skin type by Arman Zaki, our GMC-registered Physician Associate. We are honest about what the evidence supports and where it stops, and we serve patients across London and the South West. Individual results vary.
Are skin boosters or chemical peels better for facial rejuvenation?
They do different jobs, so the better choice depends on your concern. Skin boosters such as LUMI-PRO and Profhilo work under the surface, delivering hyaluronic acid to restore hydration, firmness and glow, so they suit dryness, fine lines and tired skin. A chemical peel works on the surface to refine tone, texture and pigmentation through controlled exfoliation, so it suits dullness, congestion and uneven tone. For darker skin a booster is often the gentler first step because it carries a low pigmentation risk, while peels are patch tested and dosed carefully over a course. Many plans use both, at different depths and spaced out. We confirm the right path at consultation. Individual results vary.
